Operations Assistant

We are searching for an organized self-starter to be our new operations assistant. The operations assistant's responsibilities include reporting directly to the VP of Operations. You should also be well-versed in internal operations, report monthly sales taxes, manage front desk employee, manage credit card accounts, and enter financial information.
To be successful as an operations assistant, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Enter and pay vendor invoices
Report monthly sales taxes
Help project assistants as needed for client proposals
Manage front desk employee
Enter credit card charges
Reconcile credit card accounts
Enter customer deposits and payments
Fill our vendor credit applications
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in furniture, construction, architecture/architectural products, construction, facilities management, distribution, etc., is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other business software
Additional courses in Business Writing and Elocution are advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
